    Severe Weather Returns This Week

    Today, Monday, the Storm Prediction Center has issued an Enhanced Risk of severe weather in Southeast Minnesota, from Minneapolis to Fairmont, all the way to Appleton/Oshkosh, Wisconsin. 

    Today's risk encompasses damaging winds, potentially very large hail, and isolated tornadoes, some of which could be strong. A Slight and Marginal Risk extends from southeast Montana to Northwest Ohio. A broader General Thunderstorms Risk extends and snakes around major portions of the United States today. 

    There is also a conditional severe risk, currently listed as a Marginal Risk of severe weather by the SPC, stretching from Del Rio, Texas to the northern suburbs of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. (eg. Stillwater to Watonga areas.)
