Due to a particularly dangerous setup for a severe weather outbreak on Sunday, March 15, 2026, BT Weather will be live with emergency coverage starting at 4PM ET on BreakyTime. While the extent of the threat is at this moment uncertain, the models are showing increasing instability in the atmosphere. A major threat spanning from the Ark-LA-Tex region to southern Indiana is expected to bring with it major winds, damaging hail, and the potential for strong tornadoes. BT Weather has issued its second ever Level 5 [PDS] rating, not even one week after issuing its first on Tuesday, March 10, during the deadly outbreak which killed 2 in Lake Village, Indiana.
